During my studies in Digital Media in Interactive Arts (DMIA), I had the opportunity to create a portfolio, which was a valuable learning experience. Although my specialization was Broadcast Design, I decided to create a case study for my school, focusing on enhancing student engagement. This project allowed me to interview fellow students and incorporate their insights and solutions into the case study. The primary audience for this case study is fellow students, and I aimed to provide practical considerations for them. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was unable to delve deeper into the teacher's perspective.
As a student, I encountered several challenges that I did not fully consider during my project. One significant issue was dealing with institutions that have a long history and bureaucracy. This meant that there were established ways of doing things, which often made it difficult to adapt to new systems or processes. Additionally, the existing systems for handling information might need to be integrated or updated. Furthermore, I should not have attempted to create a user interface for multiple personas with different objectives and goals. This approach would have led to a complex and potentially confusing design.
